About Lisa

For a decade now, I have been working as a commercial freelance writer. One of the things I enjoy best about my profession is meeting with clients and helping them solve their content problems. Every project has its own unique challenges, so I have become adept at changing gears at a moment’s notice to meet the needs of my clients.

My academic credentials include both a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in English. I also minored in journalism. My graduate and undergraduate training has enhanced my research skills, encouraged me to try different angles in my writing, and my training has improved my ability to identify and understand how my audience thinks.

On a more personal note, I am a born-and-raised Californian who has relocated up to the gorgeous Pacific Northwest. I’m not used to the snowy winters, but that’s why we have hot tea, blankets, and Netflix, right? Besides writing for clients, I’m also an avid reader, quilter, crafter, a novice hiker, a professionally trained singer, and I am told that I make the best chocolate chip cookies ever.
